Ethical Zimbabwe 🇿🇼

The Gogo Project supports grandmothers and children who are living in extreme poverty with groceries and mental and sexual health awareness. US25 dollars goes a long in supporting vulnerable families. Many of the children parents have migrated to neighbouring countries or passed away.

We source our groceries from female traders in Mbare musika, they in turn get to feed their families.

We are promoting ethical trading approaches, women produce plant based products such as dovi (peanut butter) and roasted maize, they sell these on the market.

Despite the alternative narrative Mbare musika is incredibly innovative and hygienic, and the spirit of the collective is unmatched in Zimbabwe.

A win-win for climate change in Africa.

Zimbabwean women are integral part of the food chain, we are spearheading innovative climate conscious projects, producing and selling products so we can pay our children school feels. We are championing sustainable free trade for a better and safer world for all

When the story of innovation in climate change is told, it must include the great efforts of Zimbabwean women, it must include the great efforts that young people like Lynn Kudakwashe Mwawa and team are doing to improve our environment.

Thank you for supporting The Gogo Project in Zimbabwe. I am indebted to the young people who lead and support this project.
